Workshop – Stone carving for beginners

Stone Carving Taster -Learn to carve Stone using traditional tools. You will learn about:
– different types of stone and those suitable for working
– Tools – hammers, chisels and how to use them and sharper them
– simple techniques for relief carving
In the time available each carve a shape,letter or number of their choice to take away.
