The Lock Keeper’s Memories

June 15 @ 11:30 am - 1:30 pm

Free

The Lock Keeper’s Memories is an inclusive promenade performance made for, with and by the local community of Bagenalstown, and directed and written by artist Hugh W. Brown. This unique happening in Bagenalstown is commissioned by Creative Places Bagenalstown. The artist has been working with the local community for several months to devise this participatory experience for all the family to come and see and features a cast of actors, musicians and circus performers from the local community and beyond. Starting at the Lock Keeper’s House on the River Barrow, it leads its audience on a theatrical journey to a variety of special locations in the
town of Bagenalstown, finishing at the Parochial House, Station Road. Led by the irrepressible and charmingly eccentric Cairdín Sweeney you can expect to witness the unfolding of a fun and magical tale that in it’s telling of one man’s recollections finds us encountering and celebrating our own special memories.
