Workshop – Yoga C – Ciara Cunningham

FreeThe third yoga class of the day. The course is open and accessible to people of all levels, though if you are a complete beginner you will benefit more from the first class. Likewise if you do yoga regularly, or if you have done yoga at different stages and you are fit and strong, the intermediate class will be more beneficial to you. The mixed level class will be pitched in the middle.
In participating, it is your own practice, and it is an opportunity to be mindful and in the moment with yourself. In the class you will always have the option to take it at your own pace, rest if/ when you need to, and always listen and respond to your own needs.
We will start with a meditation to help get in to the present moment. Then we will move into the physical yoga postures (asanas), with some flow, using the breath to help with the postures.
Finally we have a lovely relaxation. Feel free if you wish to bring a blanket with you on the day for this, as the body cools down after the physical practice.
*Please bring your own mat- There will be a small number of mats available on the day but not enough for the whole group.

2-3:30 Mixed level
Registration
Grounded seating/ meditation
Physical yoga (asana) practice
Final Relaxation
